I seem to keep catching all kinds of animals in the midst of their... love-making. As long as they don't mind, I don't mind!

Hello, Italy!

I took over 800 pictures during my 3-week trip to Italy last year... these are just a few of the ones that I like because they're either strange or lovely!

Green Cay Wetlands

These photos were taken at a local wetland preserve in Southeast Florida. It's a great spot to see birds, gators, rabbits, and other wild creatures.

What can I say? This sunset was magical.

One of our favorite spots in North Carolina - Whiteside Mountain.

Cypress seed

Florida (where this photo was taken) seems to be on a downward spiral - too many people, too much pollution, and not enough regard for our natural resources. This seedling shows that growth and replenishment are possible if we make an effort to take care of the land.

Love bugs caught in the act

Sadly, I can't quite identify these bugs (love bugs?), but I do know they were working very hard at making baby bugs!

Duck love

This mother duck was nice enough to let me take a picture of her with her 11 ducklings. So fluffy!
